Project: Custom WordPress Theme

SHARK REEF is an online literary magazine published by Heron Moon Press. The site had initially been created as a static HTML site; consequently, it was very time-consuming to update. When Lorna Reese came to me about a site redesign, I suggested that WordPress would be an appropriate platform and would provide an efficient use of volunteer time.

WordPress is a popular blogging platform. It has a vast user community from which to draw support and inspiration. I created custom templates to allow the magazine's content to be organized by issue, rather than by month or year. Readers can also browse for entries by author or genre.
